Dallas Frasca [-1] at Jive
Forming in mid 2009, thekillbotfactory set out to create a sound. Something, fresh, fun and energetic, amid a huge rock and roll sound. The 5-piece hit the stage together for the first time at the Adelaide’s, Jade Monkey in February 2010, then supporting Sydney’s Progressive/Alternative/Metal group MM9 (MGM) on the Adelaide leg of their final tour, by December TKBF were the South Australian winners of the Emergenza battle of the bands competition, and travelled to Melbourne to play at ‘billboards” the Venue.
In 2011, after travelling to Gosford NSW, North of Sydney, to record their debut release, and supporting Melbourne’s underground-renegades Over-Reactor on the Adelaide Leg of their ‘Lose Your Delusion’ Album Launch tour, thekillbotfactory released their debut ‘Fight-The-Machine[EP]’ to a sell-out crowd at the Rhino-Room in Adelaide in June 2011. After travelling to Melbourne to perform at ‘The Espy”, St Kilda, at the close of 2011, TKBF commenced 2012 with a blast setting the tone for the coming months.
Performing at Heatwave festival alongside international stars, Crazy-Town, and rapper Tech N9ne, and also featuring in Adelaide’s local Summer-Rage-FestIV in the summer of 2012. TKBF have gone on to also feature as part of Adelaide metal clubs, Live Carnage and STRIKE! throughout the year. Mid 2012, thekillbotfactory suffered a setback, as their founding guitarist chose to depart the group.
Since, the band has bounced back strongly, heading into the recording studio as a 4-Piece, commencing the recording of their second [EP], and supporting Melbourne’s Experimental/Post-Rockers Laura. TKBF has also recruited a new guitarist, featured on Adelaide metalfest, Metal-For-A-Cure-3, partaken in the Adelaide leg of the national Progfest festival, featuring Progressive/Black-metallers NeObliviscaris, and supported Melbourne’s Jericco and Circles in Adelaide. thekillbotfactory has worked tirelessly, and cemented their place as the support-band-from-hell for any touring band visiting TKBF’s hometown, Adelaide.
thekillbotfactory are on the brink of Adelaide and heading beyond with the pending release of their follow-up, 2nd [EP].

The Relentless Tour rolls through
Sea Shepherds' "The Relentless Tour" rolled through Adelaide last on it's journey around the country. We are proud supporters of Sea Shepherd and were rapped to be asked to provide the entertainment for the night, which was held at Jive.
Captain Peter Hammarstedt, captain of The Bob Barker, attaended and gave a great insight into how the campaign to stop whale hunting in the Southern Ocean is going.
Everyone had a great time and some much needed funds were raised to allow the Sea Shepherd fleet to continue it's campaign again this hunting season.
We look forward to being involved in many more of these events in the future.

Inwoods join the fold
Today we are pleased to announce another artist has jumped on board, Inwoods.
Formed in mid-late 2012 by former singer of The FAK, Tyson Mahoney, Inwoods started as a 'jam' band. After recruiting Kif Kelly (of thekillbotfactory) on bass and Jared Hunter on drums, their sound became more focused and a stoner/doom/sludge rock theme emerged. Well, it was more taken by the haunches and humped into submission... But I digress. After several months of writing and playing a few successful local shows the band recruited Jordan Buck as a second guitarist in June, 2013, to strengthen their sound and bring another influence and creative mind to the mix. Inwoods are pushing the boundaries of their genre. With heavy, mind numbing riffs, low fuzzed bass, catchy solo's, pretty melodic vocals and drums that make you go 'Whaaaa.....?!?!' these guys are destined for greatness.read more »
